About Christopher Priest
Christopher Priest (1943-2024) was a British science fiction novelist best known for The Prestige (1995), which won the World Fantasy Award and James Tait Black Memorial Prize and was adapted into a film by Christopher Nolan. His other notable works include The Inverted World (1974), The Separation (2002), and The Islanders (2011), earning him four BSFA Awards for best novel along with international accolades like the Arthur C. Clarke Award and Grand Prix de l’Imaginaire.
