Christopher Fowler

Christopher Fowler (1953-2023) was an English author best known for his Bryant & May mystery series featuring detectives Arthur Bryant and John May of London's Peculiar Crimes Unit, spanning over 20 novels including Full Dark House and London Bridge Is Falling Down. His works also encompassed horror novels like Spanky and Rune, memoirs such as Paperboy, and short story collections, earning him major awards including the 2015 CWA Dagger in the Library for his body of work, multiple British Fantasy Awards, the Edge Hill Prize, and the inaugural Green Carnation Award.
