Christopher Bonanos

Christopher Bonanos is an American author and journalist best known for his non-fiction works Instant: The Story of Polaroid (2012) and Flash: The Making of Weegee the Famous (2018), the latter winning the National Book Critics Circle Award for Biography. A city editor at New York magazine since 1993, he covers culture, urbanism, architecture, and real estate, and has contributed to numerous publications including The New York Times and Slate.
