Christina Soontornvat

Christina Soontornvat is a Thai-American children's author and former scientist. She received two Newbery Honor awards in the same year (2021): for *All Thirteen: The Incredible Cave Rescue of the Thai Boys' Soccer Team* and *A Wish in the Dark*. She also received a 2023 Newbery Honor for *The Last Mapmaker*.
