About Chloe Hooper
Chloe Melisande Hooper (born 1973) is an Australian author known for her novels and narrative non-fiction, including the Orange Prize-shortlisted debut A Child's Book of True Crime (2002) and the award-winning The Tall Man: Death and Life on Palm Island (2008), which examined an Aboriginal death in custody and garnered multiple premier's literary awards, a Walkley Award, Ned Kelly Award, and Sidney Myer Creative Fellowship.
