About China Miéville
China Miéville (born September 6, 1972) is a British speculative fiction writer best known for his New Weird novels including Perdido Street Station, The Scar, Iron Council, The City & the City, and Embassytown. He has won numerous awards, including three Arthur C. Clarke Awards (a record), the Hugo Award, World Fantasy Award, British Fantasy Awards, BSFA Award, and multiple Locus Awards, and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2015.
