Charles Warren (1868–1954) was an American legal scholar, historian, and lawyer renowned for his encyclopedic works on American legal history, including History of the Harvard Law School and of Early Legal Conditions in America (1908) and A History of the American Bar. His most notable achievement was winning the 1923 Pulitzer Prize for History for The Supreme Court in United States History (1922), which cemented his reputation as a leading authority on the U.S. Supreme Court.
