Charles Rosen

Charles Rosen (1927-2012) was an acclaimed American pianist, music critic, and author best known for his influential books on classical music, including the National Book Award-winning The Classical Style (1971), Sonata Forms (1980), and The Romantic Generation (1995), [NEH].
