Charles Frazier (born 1950) is an American novelist best known for his debut work Cold Mountain (1997), which won the National Book Award for Fiction and was adapted into an Academy Award-winning film. His other notable works include Thirteen Moons (2006), Nightwoods (2011), Varina (2018), and The Trackers (2023), often set in the Appalachian region and exploring historical themes.
