About Charlee Jacob

Nell Anne "Charlee" Jacob (1952–2019) was an American author renowned for her graphic horror fiction, dark fantasy, and poetry exploring themes of human degradation, sexual extremism, and supernatural evil. Best known for novels like This Symbiotic Fascination (1997), Dread in the Beast (2005, Bram Stoker Award winner), and Soma (2004), as well as the award-winning poetry collection Sineater (2005, Bram Stoker Award), she received multiple Bram Stoker Awards and nominations over her career.
