Carol Kendall

Carol Kendall (1917-2012) was an American author best known for her children's fantasy novels, including the Newbery Honor-winning The Gammage Cup (1959), its sequel The Whisper of Glocken (1965), and The Firelings (1981), which earned the Parents' Choice Award and Mythopoeic Society Aslan Award; she also received the Ohioana Award for The Gammage Cup.
