Camille Laurens (born Laurence Ruel, 1957) is a French writer and professor of modern literature known for her autofiction exploring personal loss, relationships, and identity, with notable works including Dans ces bras-là (2000), Philippe (1995), Celle que vous croyez (2016), and Fille (2021). She won the prestigious Prix Femina in 2000 for Dans ces bras-là, served on the Prix Femina jury from 2007-2019, and became a member of the Académie Goncourt in 2020.
