About Byron Rogers

Byron Rogers (1942–2025) was a Welsh journalist, essayist, biographer, and historian, born near Bancyfelin in Carmarthenshire, where he spoke only Welsh until age five. J.L. Carr (2003) and The Man Who Went into the West: The Life of R.S. Thomas (2006), the latter earning him the prestigious James Tait Black Memorial Prize in 2007. Wales.
