Bruce Bethke (born April 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an American science fiction author best known for his 1983 short story "Cyberpunk," which popularized the term for the cyberpunk subgenre, and his novel Headcrash (1995), winner of the Philip K. Dick Award.
