About Brian McGuinness

Brian McGuinness (1927–2019) was a British philosopher and Wittgenstein scholar best known for co-translating Ludwig Wittgenstein's Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus with David Pears and authoring the award-winning biography Young Ludwig: Wittgenstein's Life, 1889-1921, which won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize.
