Brad R. Torgersen (born April 6, 1974) is an American science fiction author known for short stories in Analog Science Fiction and Fact and novels like The Chaplain's War and the 2019 Dragon Award-winning A Star-Wheeled Sky. He has won three Analog AnLab readers' choice awards for stories including "Outbound," "The Chaplain's Legacy," and "Life Flight," along with Writers of the Future placement and the AML Award for Short Fiction. In 2015, he led the Sad Puppies campaign challenging Hugo Awards voting practices.
