About Betsy Byars
Betsy Byars (1928-2020) was an acclaimed American children's author best known for her novel Summer of the Swans, which won the 1971 Newbery Medal, as well as the Blossom Family series and works like The Pinballs and Wanted.Mud Blossom, the latter earning an Edgar Award.
