Bertrand Visage

Bertrand Visage is a French novelist and publisher born on March 8, 1952, in Châteaudun, France. He taught French literature in various Italian universities, resided at the Villa Médicis, served as cultural attaché in Palermo, and later worked as editor-in-chief at Gallimard and editor at Seuil. His notable works include Tous les soleils (1984, Prix Femina), Angelica (1988, Albert Camus Prize), and Au pays des nains (Fénéon Prize); his novels often evoke southern Italy with poetic, epic scenes.
