About Ben Pimlott
Benjamin John Pimlott (1945–2004) was a British historian and biographer specializing in post-war British politics, best known for his award-winning political biographies including Hugh Dalton (1985, Whitbread Prize winner), Harold Wilson (1992), and The Queen: Elizabeth II (1996). He was a professor at Birkbeck College, warden of Goldsmiths College, and a fellow of the British Academy.
