Barrie Jean Borich (born 1959) is an American writer and professor of creative writing at DePaul University, best known for her memoirs including My Lesbian Husband: Landscapes of a Marriage (1999), winner of the Stonewall Book Award, and Body Geographic (2013), which received the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Memoir/Biography, an IPPY Gold Medal, and other honors. A Chicago native who lived much of her adult life in Minneapolis before returning to teach in her hometown, her work also includes Apocalypse, Darling (2018, Lambda-shortlisted) and essays anthologized in prestigious collections, with pieces noted in Best American Essays.
