Barbara Cooney

Barbara Cooney (1917-2000) was an American author and illustrator of over 100 children's books, winning two Caldecott Medals for Chanticleer and the Fox (1958) and Ox-Cart Man (1979), and the National Book Award for Miss Rumphius (1982). Society of Illustrators, Boston Athenaeum
