Åsne Seierstad

Åsne Seierstad is a Norwegian journalist and writer. She is the author of The Bookseller of Kabul, One of Us, and The Afghans. Never Say War: Life Inside Russia, translated by Siân Mackie, reports from inside Russia after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine and was longlisted for the Baillie Gifford Prize 2026.
