Arnaldur Indriðason

Arnaldur Indriðason (born 28 January 1961) is an Icelandic author best known for his crime fiction novels featuring Detective Erlendur, including notable works such as Jar City, Silence of the Grave, and Voices. His books have sold over 20 million copies worldwide in more than 40 languages, and he has received major awards including the Glass Key Award (2002, 2003), the CWA Gold Dagger for Silence of the Grave (2005), and the RBA Prize for Crime Writing (2013).
