Anuk Arudpragasam

Anuk Arudpragasam is a Sri Lankan novelist born in Colombo in 1988. His debut novel The Story of a Brief Marriage (2015) was widely acclaimed in Sri Lanka and internationally. A Passage North (2021), his second novel, was shortlisted for the Booker Prize 2021. Arudpragasam studied philosophy at Sarah Lawrence College and Stanford University, where he completed his doctorate.
