Antonine Maillet

Antonine Maillet (1929-2025) was a renowned Canadian Acadian novelist, playwright, and scholar, best known for her works Pélagie-la-Charrette, which won the Prix Goncourt in 1979 as the first non-European recipient, and La Sagouine.
