About Annabel Pitcher
Annabel Pitcher is a British children's and young adult author born in 1982 in West Yorkshire, England. She studied English Literature at Oxford University and gained acclaim with her debut novel My Sister Lives on the Mantelpiece (2011), which won the Branford Boase Award and was shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal, followed by Ketchup Clouds (2012), winner of the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and the Edgar Award for Best Young Adult Novel. Her works, appealing primarily to readers aged 10-15, have been translated into over 20 languages and published internationally.
