Ann Nolan Clark

Ann Nolan Clark (1896–1995) was an American author of children's literature who drew from her experiences teaching Native American children to create culturally resonant books like In My Mother's House (1941, Caldecott Honor) and Secret of the Andes (1952, Newbery Medal winner).com.
