Angela Pelster

Angela Pelster is a Canadian essayist. A native of Canada, she now teaches creative writing at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her collection Limber won the Great Lakes Colleges Association Award and was a finalist for the PEN/Diamonstein-Spielvogel Award. The Evolution of Fire, published by Milkweed Editions, was longlisted for the 2026 National Book Award for Nonfiction. She received her MFA from the University of Iowa.
