About Angela Flournoy

Angela Flournoy is an American novelist born in 1987. Her debut novel *The Turner House* (2015) was a finalist for the National Book Award. Her second novel *The Wilderness*, a finalist for the 2025 NBCC Fiction Award, explores memory and community in a Black American family. She has taught at the Iowa Writers' Workshop and the University of Southern California.
