An Na (born 1972 in South Korea) is a Korean-American author of children's and young adult literature who immigrated to the United States and grew up in San Diego, California. She achieved critical acclaim with her debut novel A Step from Heaven (2001), which won the Michael L. Printz Award and was a National Book Award finalist, along with notable works like The Fold (2008), Wait for Me (2006), and The Place Between Breaths (2018).
