Akiko Itoyama (絲山秋子) is a Japanese novelist born on November 22, 1966, in Setagaya, Tokyo, best known for her works exploring human relations, such as It's Only Talk, Oki de matsu, and In Pursuit of Lavender, several of which have been adapted into films.
