About Adam Hochschild
Adam Hochschild (born October 5, 1942) is an American author, journalist, and historian whose works focus on human rights and social justice, including notable books like King Leopold's Ghost (1998), Bury the Chains (2005), To End All Wars (2011), and Spain in Our Hearts (2016). He is a co-founder of Mother Jones magazine and has received major awards such as the Duff Cooper Prize, Mark Lynton History Prize (twice), Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and three Gold Medals from the California Book Awards.
