Abha Dawesar (born January 1, 1974, in New Delhi, India) is an Indian-born novelist writing in English, best known for her novels Babyji (2005), Family Values (2011), That Summer in Paris (2006), and Miniplanner (2000), with Babyji earning the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Fiction and the Stonewall Book Award from the American Library Association. She graduated from Harvard University in 1995, transitioned from finance to full-time writing, and resides in New York City, where she also pursues visual arts.com
